Jeeks’ boogie-infused underground smash ‘Arcade EP’ turned a lot of heads in 2011. The infectious beats and delicious bass lines over meticulously crafted samples left people tipping the young producer for big success.

Two years later and, aside from the ‘Shoulder Pads’ mixes that have had fans sashaying across their living room floors, very little has been heard from Glenn Kelly until his disco-tinged deep house track ‘Parma’ appeared on WotNot’s Dancefloor Sweets compilation in April. The track displayed not so much a shift in focus as a new maturity, which is again displayed on Modernity.
